Don't take this too seriously, I was just acting guinea pig for Smoothies idea.

And yes, the heat-shrink tube will probably wear out pretty quick, but I'll see how long the stuff works this summ ...

My 924 NA has got a similar sound. A quite audible "whiiiiiiiii" that follows the trottle position so I just assumed that it's the throttle interiour that makes that sound...

Right or wrong? I dunn ...

I'm just curious (as usual)... Should a 924 (not a 931) be called NA or N/A?

At the swedish 9x4 board most people use N/A but that means something like "Not Available", right? "Naturally Asp ...

If it's an Audi based transmission that you have in your 924 then the trans mounts are the same as a 944.
Yes, it's a 5 speed Audi gearbox.

I thought the 4 speed was discontinued in the US after 1978? Might be wrong. I have had a few '79 come through here and all were 5 speeds.
Ah, sorry... I got a Euro-spec car, and they came with a 4 ...
