Usual reason for removal is it being compleatly failed and our completly leaked out..

Whats involved umm a hacksaw a pakage of bandaids and 2 matching sets of wrenches/sockets as there is quiet a few bolts that u have to hold on both sides. fair weight too like 40 lbs for it all .

im not the one fixign teh tank...

it is onyl rusty inside from old gas.. theya re chargin 100BUCKs to clean it out and make it liek new.. i jsut need to know how to get the damn tranny outa the way

the car sat for 16 years .. the tank is sooooo rusty and varnished inside it plugs teh fuel lines up withint minuits after cleaning them. so i ahve to get it cleaned adn lined

OK so i adjsuted the vaalves redid teh timming adn a whole wack of other stuff and teh porsche runs again

now a new problem once the car is up to temperature it will run perfect but after u tur ...

Sorry i worded that poorly.. since the beginign i KNOW the airplate wasnt lifting cause i already haved teh aircover off adn useing a mirror.

So far issues coverd and checked

- timming
-cam timming
- vacume leaks
- Low compression
- binding metering plate ...

alrighty.. throttle cable is nice n snug opens fully open from within the car.. reading vacume from teh source that leads to the advance on teh distributer. and believe it or not in canada the jettas ...
