As many of you know, I recently purchased a set of 4 bolt spiderweb wheels from Wolf1, one of which was lost during shipping.
To locate a replacement, I posted in the cars, parts wanted/for sale section & received several replies.
Dick at jaxrepo.com said he had one available & at a decent price.
After a week or so with no show, I contact Dick regarding the matter.
His reply...
| Quote: | | Hi Jay: Just got the old tire off today. Had to take it to a tire shop so as not to damage the aluminum rim. Will ship out Thursday. Dick. |
Sometime later, I receive the wheel & it turns out I've spent my hard earned money on a curb rashed POS!
Upon receipt, I contact Dick via PM & have yet to receive a response.
I feel as though I'm due a reply, perhaps this post will warrent one.
I'll be posting pics of the POS asap. |

Yea, piece of sh!t.
I didn't expect it to be perfect, but this thing isn't even worth cleaning up.
So, I guess I purchased a $50.00 center cap. |

Well don't jump the gun too, fast having been in the industry for some time, I have learned some tricks to dealing with light curb rash. Which is alittle curb rash can be easily sanded or grinded down with a soft and light hand, careful only to remove onl;y as much as need and not to guoge or scare the rim. I have done this to several rims of my own with good and nice results. Either way you and dick need to discuss this privately and lets not go through another public forum of ridicul just to get some results.
Oh I meant to ask this sooner, Could you change your avatar to something alittle less sexual, maybe it is my dirty mind, but I hate having to answer my two year old, when she ask what that lady is doing. Anyways have alook at others avatars, I think we can get an idea of the message you are triing to convey without, being so blunt, Thanks Michael
By the way if it gets too bad on the rim, I think I have an extra around I maybe able to give you _________________ Life is to short to be looking for something? |

I've tried to contact Dick privately & he has choosen not to reply for whatever reason. Being called out in public seemed to be the right motovation in your own situation, perhaps it will work for mine.
In regard to my new avatar, sorry that you don't approve.
I personally happen to like it. |

I really didn't offer an explaination, She just asked, what's that. And why? Questions, I really wish I didn't have to answer, since my office is open to my kids. To come in freely when I am at the computer, It would just help not to have to answer such questions. _________________ Life is to short to be looking for something? |

Obvious she's trying to walk and chew gum at the same time. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

I've seen much worse than that avatar on public television.Like on Friends when Monica is having her fake orgasm, see's gyrating while screaming-"A one then a three then back to one then a seven, then another seven, seven seven,oh oh oh".
I guess my point is that not EVERYTHING needs to be explained to children.Sometimes a simple "That's for grown-ups sweetie" will suffice.
P.S.-I like the avatar.Funny how no one said anything negative about
Paul's sexy stripper avatar a few weeks ago.I liked that too.

Alright enough with the innuendo. Can we get back to talking 924s now? _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Although I greatly appreicate Mikri184's wheel offer, My924gtc shipped one out this afternoon along with another TT to replace the one UPS lost.
If all goes well, I might have my car back by the end of the week with new wheels!!!!!
Anyone care to purchase a spiderweb center cap?
First $50.00 takes it! |

The avatar is annoying at best. I second the request to change it. Put up a girl in a bikini if you want, but this is just vulgar. There are plenty of sites to go to if this is your interest, this doesn't happen to be one of them. You realize not everyone here is even over the age of 18, right? Have a little consideration.
Maybe your stubborn and inconsiderate attitude prompts this: you PM the guy and he hasn't replied? Have you thought about using the phone or even email? Not everyone logs into this site everyday (I'll go a couple weeks sometimes). Such an action would not receive a kind response from me if I were in his place. Did you even ask about the condition of the wheel before purchase? There's no reason he could not have just assumed you wanted an extra track/spare/snow wheel. In which case cosmetics don't matter.
