has anyone that has replaced all their fuel lines (esp. ones that run thru pass comp.) compiled a list of all the different parts and hoses you will need? I want to replace all these to eliminate the gas fumes giving me a headache in the pass compartment.

What sizes did you get? are you talking about just from the fuel dizzy to injectors, or all around from the tank and all those between the filler and the tank.

Unless you've actually spotted some fuel leaks in the engine compartment, the fumes are more likely coming from filler and vent lines at the tank. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Yeah, thats why i was asking him to make sure he was replacing the ones back there, and not just the ones in the engine compartment. Since he said he only got one size with banjos, i thought he just did the ones up front, which i wasnt as worried about.

i took mines apart to clean them, its really easy, just take it easy when twisting off the banjo bolts, because they a weak and will snap, and trust me i had to drive 45min for one bolt _________________ 80' Porsche 924 NA - Slower then a S L O W

Could be the vent tube comin off the filler neck it can bind as it travels to the undercarriage... & wear through causing gas fumes on the inside. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

These lines that run along the the tank filler tube, are a braided line and you should be able to go to your local porsche vw dealer or a german auto repair shop should have this in bulk in stock. Which is where I get all my oem hose. It is about $2.50 a foot. Good luck _________________ Life is to short to be looking for something? |

I just bought a few metres of 8mm and 10mm hoses.
The biggest headache was the large one on top of the tank.
15mm. IIRC _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

I think im going to replace the Braided lines with just regular lines because ive read that the braided ones are mor prone to wearing through and leaking gas and fumes, any problems with that _________________ 1982 924 NA gray/silver with black int. |

I thought it was more that you can't see any cracks with the braded lines. _________________ TJ

I just used normal 10 and 8mm lines
The larger red one I could only get with reinforcing. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA
