Well thursday night as I was leaving school my muffler decided it didn't want to go home and fell off as I was leaving the parking lot. It being night and there are alot of residential areas on my way home I decided to leave it there. Saturday I skip school to go fix it in the parking lot get it up and running. On my way home on the freeway the transmission input shaft decided it was to long and decided it needed to rectify that imeadiatly by breaking in half.

Tip when rebuilding the torque tube it may not be a good idea to eliminate the plastic bushings by using bearing that have a 20mm inside diameter. There had been a vibration normally when accelerating in 1st gear or downshifting in any gear when the rpm droped through 3200-2800rpm all other times it was smooth. It had vibrated the bolts holding the front trans seal tube loose a few times.

Now comes the fun part I need a car up and running so I am swaping the engine from the 924 to the 931 this week so I have a car to use since the 931 engine wont pass smog.

It's not an easy job just to swap the engines.
I would just lean up the mixture on 931 and pass the smog test. When done, just set it up for the performance.
