Don't be jealous of shiney cars Jaf, it just means you have to spend more time polishing!

Wish it were that simple for me I really need the repaint. Polishing on my car removes the really cheap paint I put on a few years ago. lol
Looking at good repaint tho next year then I can say the same thing tux about more time polishing.
Chris.

Paintwork sure is a wierd one isn't it. If you have dull paintwork you can't feel really proud of your ride, but if its really shiney you have to spend ages keeping it that way and you are frightened to leave it anywhere in case some chav puts a key down it.

For the readers on the other side of the pond a CHAV is the British version of what you would call trailer trash.

yeah, am gonna put in an appearance.

(for those who don't know I work for BBC regional Telly)

I went the other day as we were filming for the local telly 'whats on' guide - took the opportunity to take my car along and use it as a prop - we filmed people mentioning that the porsche day is happening while sitting in my 924..

Yep, providing I get it edited in time! - Its going out on East Midlands Today on Friday 28th July, but don't expect too much, it'll probably only be given a few secs!

(www.bbc.co.uk/eastmidlandstoday if you want to watch it elsewhere around the globe - but you'll only be able to watch it that night as the website only streams the last bulletin... probably not worth it!)

Nice one. I had no idea that these sort of items were filmed so far in advance.

Generally, they drive riced-out Chavrolet Chavalliers.
