The rain is pouring down and not much to fill the time, so…
Some plywood and carpeting remaining, the original carpet was in a bad shape anyway. I was thinking about cover the whole top “rack” with speaker fabric to cover the speakers completely, 3 8” and 2 6x9”. The trunk will be quite square, the wheelarces will be hidden inside the speakers and an amp is now where the spare wheel once was. _________________ -=Torro=- |

Wow, that's a lot of watts! I'd say go with covering up the seakers, so you don't see them, IMO. |

Do you have the boxes put in place with something or are they just sitting in there? _________________ 1977 924 - sold

The "boxes" are screwed together and screwed into the rear seat where the luggage-cover once was. It is a tight fit, and the boxes are not going anywhere.
I tried to put the 6x9" in holes behind the wheels, but the sound did not reach the hearing position. All the frequencyes are now better, but of course it helps with 11 descent speakers around the listening position. _________________ -=Torro=- |

Now the boxes are covered with carpets. It looked too naked without 6x9 speakers. Just some stitching remaining and I will try and figure out how to install a cover, preferably one that is mounted to the glass-frame. It is a bit of hassle to open the hinges before I can toss something in the trunk

Okey, the final touch has been laid on the rear speaker system. The cover has been sewed together with the carpet on the backside of the rear seat. Looks descent enough….when I got the time, the next interior project would be to cover the middle console in leather.
