Anyone know the correct resistance for the OP sender when no pressure is present (ie, what resistance makes gauge read "0")?
Also, is it a mistake to use thread sealer on the sender (for grounding purposes)?
TIA

infinite (open circuit) will cause it to read 0. _________________ Vaughan Scott

So that means, disconnected should read zero, right? So, if the gauge is pegged when disconnected at the sender, I have a short in the sender wire?
Thanks, V _________________ Toofah King Bad

So, seems like I should just rewire it with a fresh length of wire doesn't it? _________________ Toofah King Bad

| You're right on not using any sort of thread sealer on the OP sender. Almost all single wire sender/sensors ground through the block, so you might check that too. G'luck! |
