Rasta

I just recently bought the very one. It seems to work good and has the fittings I needed. Just my 2 cents

Thanks man. I don't have the search skills to dredge up at 28 day old thread like that second one. . .

Sorry to dig up an 10 month old topic, but thought some people outside the US might be interested to know that I just bought one of these from jcwhitney, cost was $90 including delivery. They are at least 10 times that in the UK, Euro Car parts wanted just over 500 of the queens pounds.

Dont know if this is an option for anyone but 10 years before I found out that these are only common in the US for around $100 and unavailable or ridiculously expensive, just screwed together a few fittings with a pressure gauge and some hose. Now I did have a few brass fittings and some gauges on hand but I feel that even if you bought them new from an industrial supplier or maybe a plumbing shop it would still be half the price. Version 1 didnt have a tap but merely a rubber hose that I could clamp to stop the flow. Not rocket science here and how often are you going to use the thing anyway?

But, Roger, what about the smart plastic case...?

Good to hear that, Juno. Did they deliver to the UK? When Tiny and I looked into ordering from JC Whitney, we couldn't get them sufficiently interested to even reply.

How did you contact them? Through their web-site or what?

Mike, you have to call them for international orders, the number is on their website. Its out of stock until the end of the month, I'll let you know if it ever arrives. Gotta be worth 45 quid if it does turn up

Just got the confirmation email from JCWhitney, the total cost including shipping was $82.32. My card has been billed, should be here in 2 weeks hopefully.
