Been hunting around for a fuel filter for my '84. Got in touch with Porsche in Brisbane who wanted $115 for 93011007600 part no.
I bought 2 from http://www.autohausaz.com/index.html for less than $10 ea plus freight to Australia
total = $47.38 USD. Comes with fittings and all.
On sale still if anyone wants one. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

Part# for '81 comes up different (92811014705), but is it actually different?

I rang Austral motors- Porsche dealer in Brisbane and the 928 no is actually bigger. He ran the numbers for me. This is the smaller one with fittings.
I used '82 part nos and PET '84 part nos to get this one and Porsche agrees it is correct. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

Buying through T&D in Brisbane is a lot cheaper than going to Porsche, I bought a new fuel filter and had it installed by them for under $50 in late 2006. Even supercheap auto wanted more than that for the part alone, something like $70. _________________ '68 VW bug

Just a follow up.
They have arrived and all indications are that they fit perfectly.
The outlet is larger (14mm ?) and fits my replacement hose whereas the other end looks 12mm. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA
