Hey, guys, which injectors do we need for Mand's 77.5 924? The cheap ones, I hope.

TIA,

S

For those of us without access to your PC, that link is bad.

EBS has your injectors HERE, $75 per.

There was a change in injectors for 1980. Usually the early ones are cheaper.

You can see here:

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/944M/POR_944M_FULinj_pg1.htm#item1

The earlier injector is a few bucks cheaper.

Hope the weekend was good, I ended up picking up that hatch in Red Deer so I am in good shape. If you head to Edmonton let me know and we'll connect, I'll take a spin out your way soon in any case.

Urgh, those chassis numbers don't really make sense, and the 79 PET does not show a chassis split.

Rasta - that's kinda why I'm asking.

Chrenan - glad you got the hatch issue sorted. Excellent gig this weekend. The pic from Pelican for the early injector matches the $53.95 one on my link. That'll be the one, I figure.

Thanks, guys.

Early cars have the braided fuel lines from the distributor to injector, later cars have the steel hardlines with plastic hose sections. The change happened sometime around 79/80.

Are the banjo bolt sizes/setups the same? If so, it may not matter which injectors I use.

The '85 edition PET, which usually shows earlier chassic splits, only lists the one part number for the injector 'valve': 049 133 551.

Having said that, it only lists one part for the injector lines; but it is the 'B' version, so that implies at least two earlier versions ('A' and 'unlettered')...
