If you talking about the hose that runs from the brake master cylinder reservoir to the inlet of the clutch master cylinder, any low pressure hose that is rated to be used with brake fluid is ok.

I used reinforced clear plastic tubing with great success on one of my cars.

ok, is there some trick to taking out the starter? ive got the bolts undone and all i have to do is take it off and install the new slave. but the starter doesnt want to come out of its home.. is there something i am missing? or do i have to use some force to pull it out?

As long as you have also removed the wiring, yank it out (rocking it back and forth usually works).

Try turning the engine/flywheel a little with the front crank bolt, then tap the starter loose with a BFH. (big hammer). Also, you might try disengaging the clutch to free up any tension on the flywheel.

After you get the two bolts out, it should come right off.

Air in the lines from insufficient bleeding would cause a soft pedal feel. Pulsing might be caused by something like warped rotors (or dirty(with grease) rotors - They should be wiped with brake cleaner and a clean rag after servicing).

-And yes...bleeding is always part of the procedure any time the brake lines have been opened.

bleed the brakes, cleaned the rotors, there was some rust on them. the pulseing is sort of gone . its verry light now. my prob now is that i left the door a bit open and drained the battery. now the car wont start when i try to jump it. it ran fine the other day. so now im confused .
