ok guys i know that you can put a 350 and a 302 and v6 and ls1 and all that good junk in the 924 and 944 anyone ever hear of and 928 motor in the 924? i am curious and i have a spare 928 motor!!  wouldnt that be fun |

It wouldn't be easy because the 928 engine is very wide but check this out, click on "race dept" and scroll down to the second item. It's a 944 GTR with a 928 engine.

i think that thing on the far left with the black handle is the shoe horn....

| well my motor is only SOHC so it is a liiiitttllle smaller. plus i thought that the 924 engine bay was about 2 inches wider than the 928. i know they stuffed those motors in those cars!!! trust me many banged up knuckles can attest to that |

A guy in Macedonia used a 928 engine in a 944 to break some speed record. It was some 10 - 15 years ago. It was all over car magazines over here and as I recall, the body looked pretty stock to me.

that kelly moss site hasnt had updated pictures in at least 5 yrs and thats a mock engine for test fitting. I haven't seen anything since to suggest that the project was ever completed.
