Ok,

So as everyone knows, i've been working on my project porsche 924 now for 7 months (literally bought 3 days after my daughters birth). So she's 7 months now.

So far...

New Plugs...
New wires...
Water pump...
Ignition Coil...
Balast Resistors...
Fuel pump relay...
Rebuilt fuel dizzy (myself btw.. amazing learning curve but it works!)
New ignition dizzy rebuilt
Cap & Rotor as well.
New Timing belt
Aligned to TDC on the crank shaft as well as the cylinder head pulley.
Cap & Rotor are pointing south of the #1 spark plug wire on the dizzy.
New ignition control module...
Ignition switch has been rebuilt and functions good.

Now... Any other suggestions before tommorow that i should look at when
i go to start troubleshooting spark?

I have good power to my coil and the battery's charged up, seems it's been cranking her real good with no issues anyway...

I'd like some theories to work with as I get this thing going. because
once it's finished the FUN stuff happens, new tires, paint *ya baby*
and some serious show off pictures get posted here asap.

Thanks!

I'm not an expert but I recently went through a couple of weeks of ignition stuff. Manually turn the engine with the crank pulley bolt. I think it's 24mm.

When the rotor is on #1 plug position, the cam pulley should be on the pointer and the crank pulley on the mark located on the oil pump body. If you look at the flywheel it should be on the zero mark. Any other setting could be a problem. It's not set to run at best performance but should spark at close to the correct time.

That's exactly what we did.

So far, no go not even a fart.

But I have gas, guaranteed.
I'm not sure about spark, but i put a brand new timing belt on.
Ensured my crank shaft and cam shaft were both lined up to their little dots & groves, and as mentioned my spark plug #1 is lined up to the bottom of the dizzy mark where it's supposed to be.

That portion of the fun is done.

The next thing is, WHAT else could cause lack of spark.

D.

Then you need to put a spark plug on your valve cover attached to one of your spark plug wires and turn the car over to see if you do have spark or not. If you don't, work backwards through the ignition system until you find the component that isn't working. Just test each item insure its good, move to the next item.

If all else is good then the dissy sensor could be snafu.

Unless it has contact points? Then the diagnostics will be easy

Also just because a part is new doesnt mean it works
