So your telling me that you put a turbo on a non-turbo engine block and running nos and your car can go between 180-190mph? Have any proof, maybe even the ticket? lol I've seen nos in a 924S, it only help about 40-50hp roughly. A 924S with a 951 engine in it was up to 175mph. And I would suspect a person with such knowledge from a car school would know that NOS sucks the life out of the engine and destroys it, specially the amount you must be running through it. _________________ White 1987 Porsche 924S manual |

Admin, Mods, do you think this has gone far enough?
Certainly doesn't seem to help the OP, does it? _________________ '95 BMW 318i/5 ..."Pearl"

Oh, trust me nobody likes to have fun more than I do, and given my years I could come up with a lot of things to prove this poster wrong, but what's the use? He's a legend in his own mind and nobody is going to convince him otherwise.
BTW I've actually been hanging around this board off and on for a number of years...just haven't joined until lately...we recently acquired a reason to, but more on that later when we can post pics.
One of the things that I really enjoy about this board is the banter and camaraderie but this topic has degenerated and I just thought that there was no reason to feed the beast...let it go and try to help the OP.
And speaking of the OP, you can really get some good info here, all you have to do is seperate the fly poop from the pepper. Since modifying the 924S/944 NA engine for increased performance is an expensive proposition to gain a considerable horsepower increase, may I suggest that you concentrate on chassis, brake and tire modifications first and also driver ed, autocross, track time to hone your skills so you may appreciate the car. I think that you will find that when you spend enough time with your car to the point where you can realize it's full potential as it is, then you may consider making horsepower mods since it will be then that you will discover your abilities and what the car is already capable of as it is. And you will gain a wealth of experience that you can use to make the right modifications and not blow money down the toilet on worthless ones...just my two cents, good luck and enjoy. _________________ '95 BMW 318i/5 ..."Pearl"

Fine point, and I must add that the OP's question was answered quite thoroughly and accurately on Page One. _________________ Toofah King Bad
