So its been awhile since I posted on these forums, but as now everything has been checked on the Porsche barn find I had, I went to hit the key and it turned over. And that was it. Over and over again it would turn, but never fire.
I first assumption is that the fuel pump is not working or the ignition.
I can't actually here the fuel pump working, but the fuse is fine.
Any help would be much appreciated. _________________ Porsche 924 |

Scratch that, ignition is a go. What do you guys think is best for checking the fuel pump? To make sure it works in general? _________________ Porsche 924 |

First off, grab yourself a Haynes workshop manual.
Explains where things are and how to test.
Second, there is a search function on this forum.
Many subjects have been covered here before and it makes things easier for all concerned.
Third, download a PET manual. Its a parts breakdown and is not only helpfull for parts.
There were differences over all the models so it helps if you put a brief description of your car in your signature.

Apply 12v directly to pump.
Or remove the pump relay and jumper the pins shown below - the pump should then run continuously. If you can start the car now, the relay (or its fuse) is blown.
