Running a little rich there with some ignition retard

I've seen turbo exhaust manifolds glow like that, but not naturally aspirated ones, pretty amazing to watch either way.

Can't imagine how much more impressive it is in person.

Waaaay back in 1993 i went to the Williams factory and got to hold one of their manifolds. They are so amazingly light. Not sure what gauge titanium it was but it was very thin. Amazing that they glow white hot.

In F1 inconel for sure.

Have you noticed how Red Bull has had a few header leaks lately that caused them to be a tad down on power and 'off song' as they say enough that the announcers noticed?

This is the reason I watch F1 because of the tech. It is so high and so important to each team that they push the limits of everything before the car ever sees a track.

Super cool

BTW this vid used to be called F1 engine warmup. Brings tears to the eyes
