The glass went about 1/4 further than the skin that peeled back. I bled a lot But I still started on the Clutch even though I didn't get very far!

A small piece of blue shop towel and some tape (electrical or duct) and I'd be good. I'd wait to put the crazy glue on until after my garage work was done if it were still bleeding by then. It's not a project until there's blood! MAN UP!

ah sheeeeeeiiit
Glass cut.. deep knuckle split...yep btdt...had to get mine stitched.
A real PITA as it renders the handle uncloseable for a while.....which certainly does restrict a fair few activities.

I once accidentally chopped by hand off with a bread knife, but still managed to change the exhaust. Took twice as long mind you...
