$500 is the cost difference between the two, not the total cost of the car. _________________ '80 924 Turbo - SOLD!

Well, it looks like it is almost a done deal.... assuming something doesn't change in the next couple of months, it looks like the 924S will be mine.
I went by and talked to my buddy again and while the car wasn't there due to him having some problems with his neighbors not appreciating multiply cars sitting in his yard, we did have a good conversation about my situation and the car. (He had moved it off site to a storage facility).
It looks like I will give him a down payment in a month or so and he will release the car to me... I hate waiting on a CD to mature.... (and the rates sux)
I obviously can't do much with it until I pay him off, but it will at least be in my possession and I can start cleaning it up. He shared with me all the work he has done, and the service records from the second owner... it is a three owner car, but second was from 1993 on--
Honestly, despite the mileage (115k), the only thing wrong with this car is it hasn't been driven... I think I can remedy that...... now to come up with another $1500 in the next 30 days.
How much are they getting for blood/plasma these days... lol |
