Bet you installed the same POS knock off filter I just put on Shaggy. Reused the fittings, right? Did you swap in new crush rings?
I finally got it to stop leaking after tightening the Ever Loving Shit out of it. Invite over a strong friend. Good luck. _________________ Toofah King Bad

As above. Personally use and have no problems with nylon washers in preference to OE copper or ally. They`re thicker, softer, and seal better on slightly angled/ old/ deformed fittings or cheap QC filters. _________________ World`s quickest 924 2L slushbox

My father and I tried all sorts of things when we changed that. Of all the bits to leak, it was always where the inlet adapter screwed into the filter.
What did the trick was to wrap one of the washers in two layers of gas-fitter's tape, then push a hole through the middle before screwing it all together.

had the same problem with a couple of new filters...returned them to the shop until they sent one that didnt leak.
went trough 3-4 brands of filters.
and in the end got a MAN filter...IIRC _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits
