The Seattle Auto show. Ill be driving there (wish in my porsche).
Ahh the dreams I live 4. Ill be going up a few days early Because
I have a job there. Today I cant work on my project, Im working
till Saterday. Its time on my project to replace its windshield
& install quarter windows. Though the doors need there glass
sooner than replacinga windshield.
Autoshows are cool .. last year I worked the one in Portland
worked on the Chevy & Lexas booth the porsche booth was
right next to lexas. The Seattle one is gonna be at Qwest field
events center.. Isnt that where they play baseball.

Yesterday I got up at 3:30 am and hopped in my truck and drove to Seattle 3 hrs almost 200 hundred miles ... 186 miles I believe.

Takes bout 3 hrs. I drove back late in the afternoon. I have to go back on Saterdayto tear down what I built, You know I really wish my car was ready as it is a very nice drive. The speed limit is 70 mph for the most part
and its through some nice washington state country side.

The good thing is on Saterday I dont have to be there till 2 in the afternoon & well truthfully, thats a perfect time for a nice drive in the porsche. The weather your thinking, Well its great the leaves r changing colors and the tempurature for yesterday and today is mid 60s.

Actually there right next door to each other. There bothe really neat buildings. I stayed dwntown at a Ramada Inn with-in blocks of the place
Monday night.

Heres something pretty cool though, After working on the Subaru booth for 2 days... The cars are brought in & placed in there spot.

Suddenly the guy says to me I want you to back up the cars after after
the plastic to protect the carpet the cars are sitting on is cut. So I have to start each car and move it back till the plastic is pulled.

I did this to 14 cars all of Subarus line, Including a cool blue WRX STI,
& WRX
just like in the pics.

Its quite a package
305 hp 2.5-liter DOHC Intercooled, turbocharged aluminum-alloy 16-valve 4-cylinder horizontally opposed SUBARU BOXERŽ engine. Dual Active Valve Control System (DAVCS) Compression ratio 8.2:1

Bore and stroke: 99.5 x 79.0mm

Turbocharger with high-cross-flow-design intercooler. Maximum boost pressure: 14.7 psi.

Sequential multiport fuel injection. Electronic Throttle Control (ETC). Engine management with integrated self-diagnostics and adaptive driving habits capability. Direct ignition.

Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-DRIVE) enables three distinctively different modes of vehicle performance characteristics by regulating the engine control unit (ECU) and by fine-tuning the electronically controlled throttle.

Fully synchronized close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission

Heres a plain WRX its intercooled also with slightly less hp
output 276 I think. They start at $ 37,000.

Heres a pic of a WRX STI concept full on.

So after I moved the cars We had to Carfully jack up each one,
each wheel & turn the rim logo right side up. Then we had to remove key fuses such as horn relay, wiper washer relay, Tape all fluide openings including gas caps ... so people wouldnt remove them.
This also included removing gear shift knobs, anntenas, floormats,
owners manual, & tool kit. People like to steal these items.
Finally we unhooked the batterys and connected a power converter.

There was only 4 of us.

All went well. I had to go to the waterfront before I left town & check out the seafood.
Walked away with some cod, scallops & shrimp all for 50 bucks.

Being in freight fior awhile I was running a small lift up and down this ramp. unloading small stufff & running out to the display.

For the most part after unlaoding, I was lucky enough get one the first
day, my second day was spent on the floor directing empty pick-up. I did that for 2 hrs. Why? My lift broke first thing in the morning, vapor locked
or something. I got it back though and was regulated back storing the boxes I first successfuly unlaoding from the dock, I worked the outside dock and inside. Out side dock is on a incline so two stack high up the incline backwards is out, visability issues going straight can you into trouble so its one at a time. a crate max weight can be close to a ton & a half. Heres some of my work.

Now onto a few cars. This is a all stell bodied ford with carbon fiber
interior. Chip Foose wheels and big turbo motor.

ZR! vette awesome.

A chevy.

I have more pics just havenot uploaded them.
