Dear ideola1124,

If you were TRULY interested in SELLING the car, you would post REAL photos and validate the outrageous claims you are making. If the car were TRULY special, I *would* be interested in buying it. But not when you refuse to put together two cogent sentences, and insult everyone who makes a reasonable inquiry.

If the car were truly a prototype and you could prove it by providing the documentation I've tried to help you identify, me and whole bunch of other people would be VERY interested. But right now, you've just made yourself the laughing stock of the 924 community by your ridiculous behavior.

Best of luck with the sale

Dear ideola1124,

all it needs is a battery but i wouldnt risk it the belt has 30000 miles on it and i had to replace the lsd transaxle with a 924 turbo trans less lbs better timing and more hp might be enough honestly the car is a mystery the parts that are on this car do not match the vin description it realy belongs in more capable hands

- timdog931

Quote:
The timing belt job is less than 1 hour and less than $50 in parts. Why not just replace it and put a battery in?! A running, driving car is always going to fetch more than one that can't be started.

RE: the parts on the car, it's a real shame the LSD is gone. As for the replacement trans, it will not be any lighter than the LSD unit. If it's an open diff G31, it weighs the same. If it's the Audi gearbox that most 1981 cars had, it will be heavier. As with your other claims, photos will completely disambiguate what it is that you actually have. Why not just take some pictures and post them???! Surely you know someone who owns a digi cam that you could borrow?! I would think that the owner of the repair shop would be bending over to help you move the car so he can get the money he's owed...

Dear timdog931,

Would you consider going to Dan's and taking some photos of the 931? I contacted Dan about it and he said he didn't want to talk about it and I should talk to you about it.
Thanks

Awesome blower :D

Also that craigslist ad is a car at a junkyard, I just googled the phone numbers and one is a scrap-yard in Vineland NJ which is about 20 minutes from me right now. May take a ride down there to see it tomorrow as I dont have alot on my plate.

Well I just went through another 4 post exchange with Mr. 931 and I won't bore you with all of the details, but he said he was going to get some pictures tomorrow morning as the shop was closed when he had his girlfriend call them.

Sheesh, didn't even have the huevos to call them himself, or maybe he just has a language disability...I shouldn't assume, sorry.

Also, part of the exchange concerned how long it has been at the shop and if it was sitting outside. He claims that it was inside for a year and outside for a year. When I spoke to the gal at the shop a couple of days ago she told me that it has been outside for as long as she has been there and that is over three years...of course, maybe I heard her wrong.

Well I went to check out that craigslits add of the turbo "porch" and I must say it is exactly as advertised, a porch. I got to the address of the scrapyard and there was a house with a tow-truck behind it. Mind you this was a bit out in the boonies and the "road" the house was on was really like a narrow dirt path with 900 potholes, I was almost certain someone was going to come running out of the house with a 12 gauge, but there was a stop sign at the end of the road so I guess it wasnt someones personal driveway. Alas no porsche or any other car for that matter was to be found and I left empty handed.
