As far as pictures, late yesterday he said he was going to post some new ones today...oh well, par for the course.

I didn't give it much more thought, but then late last night he asked me for the VIN numbers of the "Race Cars" sent to the States. I obliged by providing him with the VINs of the LeMans GTP, GT Carrera, GTS, GTR, SCCA and Turbo Rallye cars stating that some of these were "Works" cars and some were "Ex-Works" cars and that I did not have a customer list of which "Ex-Works" cars, so I would not be able to tell him if any cars were sold directly by the Factory to any U.S. customers. I also informed him yet again that his car's VIN number did not fall into the category of Porsche Production Sports Cars, but rather into the classification of Porsche Production Cars (Porsche's terminology, not mine by the way), as well as providing him with the VIN numbers of the 1981 924 Turbo (U.S. model)...his car's range.

I later asked him if these numbers were of benefit to him in helping him figure out what he had, as well as asking him if the car had any rust...he replied...No Rust .

It's a pile! it's just a sabotaged 931 with a CGT body kit on it! A big, big pile!
Maybe some of our more elite posters (ideola?) see something I don't?

I have just had my eyes poked by some photos of this car, they certainly hurt!!

So firstly, where the fcuk are the $7000 of new parts all I see is a rusty engine and water damaged interior??

Secondly there is a $2000 bill to pay to Dans Autos before you can take it away or do anything!!

Thirdly there is still a repaint and rebuild costs because that car looks like a piece of shit!!

I do hope he has been proxy bidding this up and gets a 10% fee from ebay for not even selling it to someone.

Also I noticed he added in the description there is a new bonnet badge with the car, thank fcuk for that, becuase that was a deal breaker for me!

I just died a little inside. First off it makes sense that he didnt have pictures because the only way anyone would buy this car is sight unseen and by taking every misspelled word of his as the authority on porsche. Secondly where the hell are the lights and center console, part of the console is ripped out on the floor but I dont think thats everything... at least it has a new emblem.

Also I've been hunting for my last 15x6 fuchs wheel to complete my set, I should ask him what the wheel sizes are and then buy one of the wheels off the car, couldnt hurt his asking price I dont think.

On second thought, my mower is a low hrs 1983 IH cub 782 hydrostat with hydraulic lift, rust free deck and a 18hp kohler twin cyl (Magnum series II, the good engines) . That is a shaft drive small tractor, not a lawnmower. I think I would be getting the shaft in that trade.
