Ive got the 8 spoke, 4 lug wheels, that oh so many of these cars came with.
I was thinking about painting them to have an appearance of 4 lug Fuchs wheels....
Anyone done anything interesting with them? I would like to see, if so, and how they looked on the car _________________ 1979 924

Have you looked through the 'Wheel Thread' ? Seen some nice looking ones painted up. Not sure about Fuch-like, though.
There was a cross reference on here somewhere for OEM rims that would fit the 4X108 pattern from different manufacturers.
I know the old Mustang and Escort patterns were the same. _________________ I got nothin'

At the end of this part of the Wheeler Dealers episode (about 8:07 in...), they painted the standard wheels. Not terrible. Got a fair price for it.
I like the original polished aluminium look, myself. These things look pretty sharp with shiny wheels. _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

ON my n/a I have a set which is black spokes with polished rim. Looks much better than the silver ones, at least on a blue car _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

I've got the standard alloys depicted on the Haynes book. I just make sure the brake dust and other grime is wiped clean every few weeks*.
