I ended up cutting the friction material off the jetta clutch and making 6 brackets (to mount to the bolt holes the damper used) to space the hub back about an inch and a half so the clutch hub was in the splines. Then welded the brakets to the hub. No vibration, but when I shut it off you can hear the clutch hub spring rattle a little. Other than that it works great. After the holidays I'll start looking for a 5spd car for parts, but I really want to get back on the 931. _________________ 1980 924 N/A Everyday Driver
