I need new front seats in my 924 S.
Will newer 911/996 bucket seats fit and bolt into the '87 924 S?
Someone local has these newer seats available for a good price, but I also saw an ebay auction that made me believe possibly just the up-to '77 911 seats will fit in the '87+ 924 S....

Corbeau racing seat brackets are the same between the 924/944/928 (74+) and the 911 (74-89)

Looks like, though how big a difference? No idea, maybe compare the adapter plates or the bottoms of the seats? _________________ Stefan

If I were me, I'd pull a seat slider out of my car, take it to the new seat, and see if it matches. I put in a Sparco Evo Plus 2 in my CGT project, but had to drill a new hole in their slider to fit it to the car. Easy peasy. So, even if it doesn't quite line up, you might be able to drill a hole or two to make it fit. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

That's what I was thinking, I'm going to remove my passenger seat, drive an hour away to look at these new seats, and if the pass seat fits in good enough/looks like I could modify the rails then BAM I'll go for it. nice _________________ '87 924 S |

I bought the seats, very nice. I think I'll be able to get them to work. I'll post later about the details what I do. _________________ '87 924 S |
