To the best of my knowledge this was the Champion Edition which Porsche made to win the 1976 La Mans.
Like,.. did I stumble upon something great here? |

That is the plaque fixed to the consol on the 924 Martini edition of 1976/7, of which 3000 were produced worldwide. May also have been fixed to the contemporary 930 martini edition. _________________ 1984 n/a Ruby Red Metallic

Um, yeah... nah.
Certainly one of the better colour schemes in which the car was sold, in my humble opinion. Relatively rare, too, as it goes.
But it's a sticker special. And doesn't appear to be worth any more to anyone than a stock toofah, in general.
Maybe if it was a original, mint-condition Euro model... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Great find. How about some pictures of the whole car. _________________ 1978 924

| Actually, the plaque is kind of cool. I have two of them. They aren't around much any more. |

| Yea, I went looking for them on Ebay and I don't see any on there at all. While I am fully convinced this car isn't a "Martini Rossi" edition just yet. It is kewl to have some of the history of the car. I think I may take it off the car when/if I find out it's not the "Champion Edition" tho |
