|
|
Anyone put a cycle type bottle holder using the rubber plugs with a threaded end (rawlplug??) into their car on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel?
Trying to make the car a bit more user friendly and was hoping by drilling two holes into the centre tunnel I wasn't risking puncturing anything. _________________ Trust, Then Verify |

I would drill into the center console side instead. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

A PO did that on my 951. Looks like crap.
Personally, I'd make something that folds out from under the dash next to the console. If you look around there are some neat pieces that are made to hide under the dash and slide out that should be adaptable to our cars.
Or use the folding cup holder solution from only944.com
As long as you verify there aren't any fuel, brake or electrical lines in the area before you drill, it will work. _________________ Stefan

I almost did it ,right behind the shifter on top of the tunnel. A double cup holder no less. Go for it. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na
