Hey everybody,

My name is Michael and I own a 1988 924 S with 21,000 miles. I am happy to meet all of you and hope to share the knowledge.

Was this thing just on eBay for a princely sum?

Welcome!

Nope. Never on eBay. I bought it six months ago for $4,500. Since then I did a bit of work to freshen it up a bit.

New hood and trunk shocks
New Timing belt and water pump
New clutch and master cylinder and fluids
New Kenwood radio w/bluetooth
New Tires
New radiator hoses and fluid
New Oil and filter
New Charcoal canister
New Antenna
New polish and wax

I just saw the one on ebay you are referring too,,,wow beautiful car.

A very nice and clean 924s. i suggest a cardboard screen dash shade if you can find one, just to save your dash from cracks if you out this summer.

btw, is the steering wheel on the correct placed?

I do have a dash cover on it to keep the dash looking good. I do this on all of my cars anyway. As for the steering wheel...I am not sure of your question if it is in on the correct place? Where should it be? lol...
