Words cannot describe this event, taking place at Laguna Seca this fall. Imagine seeing Brian Redman hop in a 917k and beat it down the corkscrew like he was driving the last lap of a sprint race! It is awesome, and if you live within a days drive, there is really no excuse not to attend.

Just got off the phone with Laguna ticket office (831-242-8200), and there are plenty of campsites left in Grand Prix campground. Ours is Site 150, FWIW.

Here are a few inspirational photos:

There's something you don't see every day, RS Spyder and 917k:

Hey, Seinfeld, I'M TOUCHING YOUR CAR

O, hai, Brian Redman

This year's event will feature two ridiculously cute girls

And bourbon

Get those tickets, and we'll see you there!

Okay Rasta, I'm going to put you on the spot! Of all the Porsche's that you have seen in person if you could pick one to have as your own, which one would you take home? How long did you have to think about it?

Is anyone else planning on going to this? I just got off the phone with Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, and they said they don't have a single 924 in the Corral, yet they have about 9 944's. If anyone can make this, it's sure to be a fun time! Let's get the 924's rolling in!!!

It's not that they don't have an option, they didn't have anyone sign up. I'd call back and talk to them about it, she said she would sell me tickets, but I am waiting till next pay check, I do plan on going. I may only do Sat/Sun though because of work.

I will be there all three days with a bunch of my local PCA track rats! Stoked! Let's have a toofah get together. All my PCA track friends make fun of me for dumping so much $$$ into the 931 but I am almost done. I want them to meet someother toofah loyals!

We are all flying. We will all be in a rental car

Lame.

snap! don't hate on me

After $12K in parts and labor (plus price paid for the car) the 931 runs well but I would still NEVER trust it on a looooong road trip. Jealous you can...

Mainly, I am too busy day to day to drive from Denver.
