As I've mentioned in prior posts, I'm building a 1979 924 to run at Bonneville this summer in the 1.5 - 2.liter naturally aspirated Classic Production class. The rest of the build is nearing completion, but my engine builder (Michael Mount) has hit a roadblock sourcing lifters.

I need eight lighter than stock 38.5 mm diameter solid lifters and we have so far struck out finding a set. I'm hoping that among all the folks here someone has a set stashed away that they'd be willing to part with.

I've seen older threads here on group buys, so I know they've been bought. I'm just hoping somebody bought an extra set, or never used the ones they got!
Rick
P.S. We could use stock lifters, but they are pretty heavy to run at the >8,000 RPM range we're tageting.

P.S. DO NOT run stock lifters at 8000rpm, they can and will break up.

I asked a well known tuner in Sweden to make a batch, aka the Sten Parner lifters. He sold his shop and the lifters can now be bought at:

Thanks Weasel and Gegge (both) for that link! I've gone to the website but so far haven't been sucessful in placing the order. After I enter the order info and try to check out, I get this odd message " We are offline. Please send a message". I did so, yesterday, but so far no reply. I'm assuming they were closed for the day (it was 1300 in the eastern US when I sent it).
