Not sure if mine are OEM or not. They cylindrical with an outer plastic cap and a small key hole. The PO didn't have the key and these tires are in terrible condition.
Are these keys able to be reproduced? If so what is the process. I am sure there isn't a Porsche dealer in all of Montana.
Lock smith? Dealer? On line? Drill and replace? _________________ 1987 924s |

No, you just have to have the image hosted online somewhere like photobucket and copy its url code, then put it here in between [img] [/img] tags if it doesn't already have them..
On topic I'm curious about the aluminum lug nuts on my car... Are they OEM? _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

Forget about chasing down the key...
Take a socket that is roughly the same size and hammer it onto the stupid lock [it will grip it tightly then] and then simply use a socket wrench to remove it.

That's not going to work on the Porsche locks.
Drill & replace unless you can pick them. |

Be careful with them, they get worn out easily and can strip/fail if man-handled.
On my street driven cars, I replace them with steel lugnuts for safety in case some goon with an impact wrench gets too close to my car. _________________ Stefan
