Hello, at this moment Im replacing the head gasket. I own my 924 80 since 1991, and on this period I made this job about 4 times, always notice the issue of the 4th cilinder overheat. This time I was decided to install a second thermostat housing at the rear end of the head, and pipe it as the existing one, so the temperature get balance at both end of head. The heater was eliminated long time ago.
Someone do this before? Your opinion please. _________________ Porsche 924 1980, 944 brakes, GM alternator, GM Master Cylinder, 40decoe weber, Crane ignition module. |

Others have modified the water flange at the rear of the head and used a larger hose to increase head flow, with success.
Try a search. _________________ Toofah King Bad
