Dam chilly around here! Set a new low last night at - 44.9C - In Saskatoon
not counting the wind chill.! Hey Peter in AU , how is the
fire season doing as I understand ower governments worked
out a deal with the water bomers.
Anyhoo , between the shop and the house ; my heating bill is gonna
be #$&%** (bad), but the car is happy in the warm and my 5
bird feeders are going strong.

Stay warm !

Hey guys, just got back from a week in the Caribean. 85 to 90 F every day. I get home, and the next day, five inches of snow.

Yeah, well, the mercury's still been running at over 80 deg F down here, with stifiling humidity.

We've been getting some cracker thunder storms! Every arvo at 4:00pm, like clockwork, they start rolling in.

Joe, if there's one thing this country is not, mate, it's cool. IT'S BLOODY HOT! Even in winter it never hits 0 deg C (32 deg F). It might get down to 40-or-so deg F overnight in winter but it usually gets back up to 60-or-so deg F during the day - and that's only for about two weeks in June! The rest of the time it's warm and sunny. Or hot and sunny. Or BLOOD HOT AND STORMING! Like now...

Of course, the southern cities do get a little colder... but -45 deg C?! Geezergary, that's INSANE, mate! I'd move if I were you...

I will be visiting Sydney around June for a couple of weeks. What is going on car wise so that I can attend. Any races?

Vince

Well Vince, you're gonna miss our premier racing series! The V8 Supercars are racing in Western Australia in June and up here in Queensland in July. Pity, 'cause one of the support acts is the Carrera Cup. They often have what is called "Nation's Cup" too, which is a series that allows things like Ferrari 360's, Porsche GT3's (and Turbo's), Vipers and Lambourghini's to race against each other.

Check out The Porsche Club of NSW occasionally http://www.porscheclub.org.au/ as they will probably have some sort of event on during June.

Peter might be of more help. Pretty sure he's from/lives in Sydney. I'm about 1000 miles away up in Brisbane.
