So I believe that I have everything unbolted, but I'm not sure the manual shows removing bolts from the inside of the bell housing is this correct? If not is it just a wiggle operation? |

the 931 and 924S have a clutch fork shaft that needs to be pulled the 924 just wiggles out this is if you have all the bell housing bolts off, or you could just undo the 4 bolts holding the bellhousing to torque tube _________________ 3 928s, |

as Lizard says... but also try and drop the front cross-member if possible to give yourself more room to move, it's damned tight getting the motor in and out as the weird shape of the sump means it hits it. Taking the steering linkage out helps too (bar that leads diagonally from the firewall down to the rack) it's only two bolts but it gives a little extra space in there to play with I found. _________________ Mars Red '78 Euro 924 n/a
