I've been using an MSD Blaster II coil in my 924 for about a year. No increased performance, but no loss of power, either. It was about US$30. _________________ Jon Furst |

J1NX3D, I'll let you know when it breaks. It was about half the price of a Bosch coil. _________________ Jon Furst |

wdb,
Any chance you could let me know which $11 Chevy coil to buy? I was holding off replacing my coil due to cost, but I'd love a new one to go with my new plugs, wires, rotor and cap... _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

| I ran a universal coil I bought at Autozone for $8 on my 78 a few years back. BTW, if you ask for a coil for a GM 75 of later they used HEI and the coil is in the cap. ACCEL has a few universal coils cheap. |

| Well i tried the coil for a series 1 944 in my 924 turbo, that didn't work. It ran even slower than before. so i think i'm going to try to find some performance part thingie, and try that. |
