Well, what a weekend! Had my 924S broken into and ransacked. Had to have been kids. I keep my toolbox with about $1,500 worth of tools in the hatch....They tried to pull it out, but couldn't squeeze it between the rear seat and the hatch glass. Apparently never thought to just lower the seat-back. Duh!!! THEN, they tried to rip out the radio, but it's the Blaupunkt CD player with the removable face, so not much luck there. So they just went through the car, stole some Australian currency I had in the console and took my Owner's Manual/Maintenance book. Could've been worse I guess.

Off Topic: Had to troubleshoot my girl's '96 Jetta to see why her windshield-washer pump hasn't been working all year. Been putting it off and putting it off....Tore the tank out to get to the pump...had her pull the lever while I put the meter to it. Everything seems to work fine, but no fluid coming out. Dumped the fluid out of the tank in preparation to yank the motor and out comes a BADLY DECOMPOSED MOUSE! lol The little wanker must've crawled in for a snort of washer fluid and drowned. The pump and all the plumbing was completely plugged with pieces of dead mouse.

UNFORTUNATELY, no such luck with the Porsche's washer pump. It's just plain dead.

I think I would prefer fixing the Porsche washer pump.
