compression ratio for 944/924S?

I know the 924S is basicly a 944 in a 924 shell but have heard the engine is a detuned version with only 150 hp not 163 as in 944.
How is this accomplished, did porsche lower the compression ratio?, how?
Where can i find specific technical info about this?
What is c/r for the 924S?
All info for Euro models, please.
