Recently an interesting question was brought up regarding the true color of my car.
My924gtc thinks it could be Minerva Blue, which was available for the 911SC and 928 in '82
After searching for close to an hour I have yet to locate my color, L30T
However I'm not quite sure that it is in fact, Light Blue Metallic.
The color code I found lists light blue metallic as L M5Z
http://porsche.elevate.nl/technical/ColorCodes.html

Can anyone help verify this??

Thanks!

Have since found another site that lists LBM as L30T & MB as L304
WTF?

My color code sticker says L30T.

I was not using a code sheet for my suggestion that Pro's car is Minerva Blue I was using a Porsche Color Chip brochure for 1982 and Minerva is definitely the color of Pro's car according to my 20/20 vision.

Here- http://www.sherwin-automotive.com/formula/car_finder.cfm?FORM_VCC=304&FORM_VM=PORSCH&PAGE_ID=1 , they're in agreement that L30T is Lt Blue Met and "304" is Minerva Blue (have to use "304", not "L304" to show Minerva.) The codes that I and "porsche.elevate.nl" listed are from factory manuals and don't all agree with what's shown by "www.sherwin-automotive.com", so I have to agree with you when you say, "WTF?".

Lucky Strike Means Fine tobacco. LSMFT which was a logo used by them a long time ago.

Couldn't resist while reading the color codes.

My924gtc, I agree LBM can't be the color.
As I mentioned above, if it has been repainted, someone really took they're time. I've replaced the rear hatch seal & hatch lock seal & the paint is seemless from ext. to int.
For now I'll just call it blue, but it would be cool to know for sure.

If you can find one I see these brochures on Ebay once in a while. I think I paid $2.00 for it a couple years ago. A lot is lost with the image posted. All the metalic qualities are lost and the colors really don't look the same.

The cool thing about the chips is that you can see the swirls in the paint because they are genuine samples of the actual paint they used and probably done by hand with a template.

If your car is factory paint, I promise you it is Minerva Blue.

Oh well, I fear we will never know.

While we're on the subject of paint codes...etc.
Anyone have a paint code sticker from a "Diamond Silver Metallic L97A" on a parts car?
I want to replace mine as it is torn in half?
Thanks
