| I just gotta stock 924 turbo I don't really plan on doing any engine swapping but I was wondering where a good place to start would be for a little bit more performance, im new to these kinds of cars on my other cars I could just throw a cold air intake and some headers for a good 35hp dunno if I can do that here hehe thanx. |

You may not have enough money to make the car go quicker. Intercooler used $500 to 1000, headers?? who makes them, muffler nothing. I run without one and did not notice a difference.
Bigger turbo, 1 bar boost spring, suspension work first, lighten car, etc costs big bucks. Invest that much then I would suggest you buy a 944 turbo for 7-9K. You will like it much more and it will be faster and more confortable.
Trust me. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

Blow off vale needs to be plumbed back into your intake system of you will run lean and destroy your engine.
This is what your wastegates function as. ie The spring inside it determines the maximum pressure into the intake before and dumps the excess. As Vince suggested a replacement 1 bar boost spring (14.7psi), located inside the wastegate will increase your maximum pressure from .7bar (10psi stock setting).
If you do this and add a front mount intercooler you will easily see this performance gain for the least amount spent on your car.
Next you could lighten it by removing excess parts such as rear seats, sound deadening, air con etc, or moving towards fiberglass parts.
Keep in mind this will make your car faster and lightening it will make it handle a little better, but it would be worth investing the time into doing the suspension, sway bars/torsion bars and wheels when you have the finances to do so.

Leadfoot, I'm still looking for a ROW 10 psi wastegate spring so I can replace my US 7 psi one.
Any ideas of where I can get one? _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

"Boost Level - Increasing boost pressure will give more power, no doubt; by squeezing a mere 1 psi extra on our development S2 gave us 35Nm and 20bhp. However be warned that in our experience neither the S1 nor S2 will maintain reliability if the boost level is increased without charge cooling and ignition / fuelling optmisation. The simple way to increase boost is to fit a stronger wastegate spring. We have available the factory 962 spring to increase boost from the standard 0.65 bar up to 0.95-1 bar. Alternatively, an adjustable system can be fitted using a pressure regulator to feed counter pressure onto the top of the wastegate diaphragm, so assisting the spring to raise the blow off pressure. The precision valve is suitable for either engine bay or under dash mounting. We recommend its use only with an accurate in car boost gauge. Wategate spring £88, pressure regulator and pipework £125, both plus fitting."

two types of spring but I would suggest that the 1.2 bar spring would need some engine work done to accomodate this level of pressure.
