40 mm DCOE is about 222 CFM per side or 444 CFM which is very similar to the downdraft version (IDF) _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

I hear carbs really improve the performance of a na 924. I like the cis though its just the way it is.. though carbs would be nice to try
along with a ported polished head, performance cam, performance header, lightened flywheel, high CP pistons or a decked block &
balanced bottem end. yea. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

After all is said and done I think I get maybe 140hp from my car. Carbs, mild cam, duals, heavy duty valve springs, adjustable cam gear, 2 45 DCOEs, 9.2 pistons etc. It is a screamer at 3000 plus. Under not so good. Gas mileage about 15mph. Hard starting cold but manageable.
It is no where near as fast as my 79 931 Euro but nice and I like it. I will track it this year after a 2 year makeover including an engine rebuild. GT look a like. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"
