Well I bought my 24 a starter and a companion being a 931. I'm getting the 31 a rebuilt turbo. I also got a set of rims for the 24 so I can put the rims on the 24 on to the 31. I'm also rewiring the starter and alternator on the 24. _________________ 80 924

I am installing a different head with good valve guides and seals, and a new (to me) distributor as my old 1 was having some advancement issues _________________ 3 928s, |

Yep, bought my Burb a new gas tank! Literally, showed up on Xmas eve...
The turbo and other toys didn't get any toys - they were all parked.
Though, in a way, the racecar's getting a toy - software for my desktop to combine the data from my data acquisition system with my video from the in-car videocamera. Should make my videos a whole lot more interesting! _________________ Vaughan Scott

Speaking of incar video, how much would it cost to get one camera mounted in the car with very good picture quality {about 1 1/2- 2 hours long} and good sound quality? I haven't figured it out yet. |

Well the 931, gets to come into the Garage... pushing the 944 out. The 931 is getting a rebuild.
The 944, she gets 2 1/4" flares to all for wheels, a custom Hood and Custom turbo Hybrid.
---yep I pulled all the supercharger stuff. and I am working on the Driver Side Turbo Configuration.
For me I am still looking for an early 944, any year 924, 924S or 931.
I really want the 944 so I can stop swapping parts everytime I want to work on a different kit. Then take turns driving them of course!
Now the fact that I have the attention span of a gnat, doesn't help. I just get so bored with one thing or the other and start on the other thing....
The Thing is I have these kits and they work, I am just never satisfied with what I built, so as soon as a way to tweak what I have comes to mind, I am off running with that.
I wonder how many times I can say thing in a post....? |

How many kids with ADD does it take to change a supercharger? Wanna ride bikes? There's a butterfly! Wow icecream!
Ahh, don't feel too bad {especially if you have ADD, } I can barely figure out which door to get in, let alone work on the engine. |

No out of those 3 made noise if they dont put out Ill
go back to this secret place look again
see those were just layen on boxes on the ground Ill have to look on
shelves and in little cubby holes hopefully for a good one maybe even a new one. Though my car cover is nice rolls up pretty big like a
sleeping bag compared to say like a bra. Itll come in handy in different waether situations..Ill use it alot. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

This is soo cool that I nearly forgot I ws still sick. Anyways, I will be posting pictures for you all to drool over later today. _________________ Life is to short to be looking for something? |
