Sorry about the large pictures for you dial-up people. I'll try and put together a page with some thumbnails later, but for now I just have links to huge pictures.
The first 6 are some pictures of my engine almost ready to be put back in the engine bay. I've posted a few posts in the 931 discussion, but if you haven't been there... I'm converting to EFI using Megasquirt and I will also be using Megasquirt to control my ignition using the Ford EDIS system.
The last 14 pictures, are of Jamez' car that has a Chevy LT1 in it. There are no engine pics, but there is one cool burnout picture. That's Mount St. Helens in the background incase anyone was wondering. |

Excellent!
Please make sure that when you make some "narrow-band" copies of the EFI pics you keep the full-size pics available. The detail is great.
And the shot of a 924 toasting the tires - supurb!
What did you use for the injector bungs - diy or commercial? _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

Great work! I'm still cobbling together my parts list. -Waiting for the EDIS parts to come in at the moment so that I can get the trigger wheel setup. Although I still have lots of hurdles before I get close to firing her up. Still figuring a way around the injector bungs for one.
FYI- Bosch "brown top" injectors from the xr4ti & thunderbird sc are right in our window (36psi - for IC turbo's at least) and can be had second hand for dirt cheap. I picked up a set for $20!

I'm using 450cc/min injectors from a Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo that I got for $60 on Ebay. I machined the existing injector holes to fit these injectors. I just had to bore out the holes a little bit, less than a mm I think. The injectors are just about flush with the end of the injector holes and the intake ports.
I built the Megasquirt a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't hard to build at all. The directions give you a part number , say R32, and then you find R32 on the PCB and solder it in place. You don't need to know how to do anything really except solder, although a basic knowledge of EFI sensors would help for installing it in the car.
The only reason I don't have it running yet is because I need to get a new clutch and am a little short on money.
And to answer 924guy's question. I'll ask Jamez if he remebers the exact brand, but they are just universal headlights; too expensive for me so I'm going to use some sealed beams from a junk yard car for my gt headlight conversion. He used aluminum and polished it up for the buckets. I don't have any pictures yet, but I'm using sheet metal for my buckets and I am actually going to weld it to the badge panel, after it's flush and looks like a part of the body, it should look good. I'm having trouble finding headlights that will fit though, so we'll see what happens.
Over and out,

Jamez used clear plexiglass that can be bought at any hardware store. Then he used the old metal headlight covers and a heat gun to mold the plexiglass.
