|
|
I bought a new distri cap from bosch and now I found that my current spark plug leads do not connect with the distri cap. The distri cap that was fitted had very small studs inside each hole for each cilinder, while the new bosch cap has just a copper bushing inside each hole for each cilinder.
The spark plug leads have orange plugs underneath the rubber covers that fit over the small studs.
The connection from the coil to the distri cap is also different, but the HT lead seems to fit both distri caps.
The brand of the old plug leads and distri cap is ŽberiŽ or something.
Does anybody recognize this problem?
I presume original bosch leads have the correct connector??
Thanks in advance,

youve got "beru" type plug wires, they gave you the wrong cap..probably from a 931 (non "Beru") .. exchange the cap for the proper one.. _________________ Eric
