I think I have been riding on collapsed shocks since I got the car.
The new shocks are on the way.
Should I replace the springs(probally original)if so
How much am I looking at and where can I buy stock replacements if need be.
kyb shocks are going back in. _________________ 1978 924 95 mile daily driver.

About $125 for the stock or 250 lbs springs. Either one. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

The stock 924 front springs usually don't go bad (sag).
You are going to need new upper mount bushing/bearing assemblies (superceeded to the 944 part). Your original separate upper mount bushings are guarentteed to be long dead.
You should also install the 6mm spacer/washer per Porsche Factory TSB to help prevent the grinding of the spring perch and upper strut mount when the new upper mount assemblies get old. |
