I have enjoyed being a member of 924.org for just less than two years now. My knowledge of these cars has increased daily from reading the posts. My contributions have been few.

I call you all here today to mourn the sad loss of a member. A member who was slain needlessly, a member who will contribute no more, be it large or small, to our forum.

We as a group need to take a good long look into the mirror. We need to look at what needs to be said before we say it. Up until a few months ago I found 924.org a positive place with like-minded people. I am afraid I have contributed to the negativity as of late. For that I am sorry. For this I may be more so.

I for one do not feel a bad apple was weeded out. I feel a friend was lost even though I never met or dealt with Procon personally.

We each have the option to do what he has decided to do. 924.org will go on, but he will miss out on its many treasures.

With all that said I still cant help but wander if his demise was premeditated.

That's too bad. When someone leaves, they take the knowledge and experience with them that they've accumulated over the time of ownership.

I know this is the Internet and so "reality" is only an interesting concept but if you click the search link and type "procon" into the author field you'll find that prior to getting all wierd over a wheel, procon's contributions to the board really amounted to a lot of requests for help and a few off-topic comments.

Now that he's got his car fixed-up or has got bored with it we get a final outburst and when he gets told to calm down does the big "I'm off".

I think we'll all cope.

I can't help but feel responsible for this. Yeah, it was me who alerted the moderators. I love porn as much as anyone, but not in a tech car forum. Seems the moderator agreed. In no way did I request procon to leave the group. This was his own volition in response to the criticism. I didn't see a note about jaxrepo leaving the board for being flamed in the first place. We're all (generally) adults here.

If you have a grudge with me over this, just drop me a pm. You'll find out I'm not too tough to get along with. I don't want any bad car-ma over this.

Regards,
nick
