do you mean that you are looking for just new brake pads and shoes for the drums, or are you looking to upgrade?
if you are looking to upgrade or increase the stopping power of your car, you can get discs at all 4 corners of the car, by taking the parts from an early 944 and bolting them right in.

One of my co-workers is Italian - from Rome. Are you trying to translate specific terms? Replacement pads, shoes, rotors (discs) and drums should all be available without too much trouble.

breaking system? I think I have one of those on mine too
For assistance with translating, try Google's language tools:

This is what I used to figure out the text and warning labels in my 928 Euro...

Thanks for reply! and sorry for my english!

I'm looking for drums' shoes and pads for the two rear wheels.

I know that my car is a VW-Porsche project, and I think there's another car like mine of VW that have the same parts of braking system.

Do you know any car like this?

Here there are many people ignorant like me!!!

To 924RACER: Can I contact your italian friend to have some information?

Thanks all!

drums, shoes and pads should be readily available, and i believe theyre the same as the VW Super beatle (at least here in the states, sombody correct me if im wrong though.)

Several years ago i had the entire braking system replaced on my 78, lines, rotors, drums, all of it.. at a cost of almost $1500.00 , and that was a very good price. I should have just upgraded to a five bolt set up though. wouldve cost around the same or less, and its a much better system..oh well, live and learn..

anyhow, for just drums and shoes, it shouldnt be to hard to find the parts. worse comes to worse you can import them from the states, but there are so many 924's in europe you might be better off looking to england or france for the parts if you cant find them locally..
