| Hi. Any tips on replacing the two heater hoses at the rear of the motor? These are the ones running thru the firewall. They look pretty hard to reach..Does the coil/distributor have to come out? Thanks... |

you may wish to remove the coil to make it easier to reach, but not a must, same with the distributor _________________ 3 928s, |

Even with the coil removed, it's a real PITA to replace those hoses. Removing them isn't the chore, its getting the new hoses back over the pipe stubs. Do not forget to put the hose clamps over the hoses before getting them reinstalled. You won't want to have to pull them a second time to fix that error. Be careful also as to not unplug either of the wires from the oil pressure sending unit, they are not easy to reach either. _________________ '79 Eurospec 931 |
