Bilstein HD shocks/struts
Weltmeister adjustable sway bars front and rear
Dave Turner Motorsports modified housings with Ground Control Coilovers
Eibach ERS 250# x 2.5" x 10"
Bicknell 5# tender/helper spring and bushing
KLA Industries solid billet upper strut mount
Racer's Edge delrin front-of-front lower control arm bushing
Weltmeister castor block bushing (rear-of-front)
Alignment & Corner balance

New 225/50-15 Kumho V710's on 15x8" + 15x9" Mahle/BBS wheels.

930 wastegate, K&N cold air kit, 3" catalytic converter and exhaust system (no muffler), Jacobs OmniPack ignition (yuck!).

Finally done! Need to replace the new MOMO Start seat to the passenger side and install the new MOMO Cup GT on the driver side, delete the harness bar and install the AutoPower Street-Sport roll bar, and replace the aging Sparco steering wheel.

I'm finally done!! Now if this darn rubber bushing junk would wash out of my skin, that would be great.............BTW-- car rides EXCELLENTLY on the street and should be a terror on the track (to the other GP competitors!).

Race tomorrow, results to follow.

That's quite a bit of work, all told! The 930 wastegate - did you use a 1.0 bar spring in it? Did anyone notice that Performance Products now sells a 1.2 bar spring?

Let me know how you find the steering effort with the 8's up front... I'm curious, as I'll probably be there eventually myself...

Completely stock 930 wastegate, not rebuilt or taken apart.

8's are fine to steer, even with the race tires.

Having all of that power and new race tires sure was nice, I had an honest 5 second lead on GP during the practice runs before the rubber clutch exploded. Towed it back to my shop, there it will sit as I try to save up some money to put a "real" clutch in it.

It's always something!

How'd you get 8's and 9's to fit under the bodywork? I'd appreciate it if you could post the backset (distance from the backside of the rim to the mounting surface of the wheel) and any spacer(s) you might be using to properly center the wheel(s). Also, maybe I missed it but have you modified the bodywork at all, i.e. rolled fenders, f'glass, etc. TIA

944 Turbo nose, wide fenders, and glassed-in rear fenders (not the 924 CGT fenders, just the regular 944)

All done by the previous owner(s), I haven't touched a thing on the exterior of this car....I would have LOVED to go with the CGT fenders and hood scoop, as I think it really looks muscular and aggressive.

BTW-- one of my customers told me that there is a feature in this month's Excellence magazine with the 924 CGT on the cover.
