ok guys heres the deal i have the chance to get a 87 924s full runnign car for about a thousand. my question is do you think it ould be possible to take the engine driveline and suspension outta the 87 and drop it all in my 78? the body is shot on the 87 and mine is pretty good condition. i do ork at a porsche dealership so i can get any part pretty cheap and all the help i might need from the techs there. what do you guys think?

I'd sell the '78 924 and buy a better 924S. Or spend the thousand bucks on your '78, if it's already half decent...

I think Khal has the right idea.. take the easy way out and spend the grand on the '78 you love.

Hey, some people just love to modify their cars. That's cool. Go for it if you feel the need

I'm a bit of a purist (not so much that I can't appreciate a well mod'd car ). The '78 would be more impressive to me if was original and mint.

Maybe a few performance upgrades -lowered suspension, better (than stock) wheels and tyres, one of those nifty hatch spoilers, a tuneful exhaust... maybe...
